Hannu Mannermaa has a comprehensive and diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Hannu began their career at Valmet Aircraft Factory in 1985, where they worked as a Technical Support in the Department of Instrument Maintenance until 1988. Hannu then joined Instrumentointi Oy in 1988 as an Electronics Designer, focusing on designing PCBs and units for military systems until 1997.

From 1997 to 1999, Mannermaa worked at Sandvik as an Electronics Designer, where they were responsible for electronics design, subcontract management, and providing support to production and customers.

In 1999, they joined Patria as a HW Design Engineer, specializing in developing and manufacturing the DEBIE-instrument for debris in orbit evaluation. Hannu also performed electronics design at PCB, unit, and system level, and conducted system-level functional and integration tests.

From 2003 to 2017, Mannermaa worked at Murata Electronics Oy as a Platform Owner for High Volume Test Systems. Their role involved collaborating with other design teams in developing new production and laboratory test systems. This included architectural, schematic, and layout design, proto/small volume manufacturing cooperation with subcontractors, and involvement in various test phases. Hannu also participated in the standardization of the HW design flow, producing guidelines, checklists, design review documents, and managing the PADS library.

In 2017, Mannermaa joined Convergens Oy as a Senior HW Design Engineer, where they worked until the end of 2017. Hannu then briefly worked at Profound Medical Inc. in 2018 as an Electrical Engineer before joining Kemppi Oy in the same year as an R&D Engineer.

Throughout their career, Mannermaa has consistently demonstrated expertise in electronics design, testing, and collaboration with various teams and subcontractors.

Hannu Mannermaa attended the Technical School of Oulu from 1983 to 1985, where they obtained a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Hannu was awarded the title of Technician of Telecommunication upon completion of their studies.
