Janne Karppinen

Janne Karppinen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Janne started their career at Nokia Networks Oy as a Sourcing Analyst in 2005. Janne then moved on to Stera Technologies Oy, where they held various roles such as Project Manager, Managing Director of Stera Engineering (India) Pvt. Ltd., Manager of International projects, and Unit Manager. In 2012, Janne joined Kemppi Oy as a Senior Category Manager and later became the Director of Sourcing and Procurement. Janne then took on the role of Director of Sourcing and Logistics before being appointed as the Managing Director of Kemppi Welding Technology (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. in 2018. In 2020, Janne joined Kemppi as the Vice President of the Safety Business Unit, and they currently serve as the Vice President of Supply Chain Management.

Janne Karppinen completed their M.Sc in Production Engineering from the University of Oulu from 2000 to 2006. Later, in 2012-2013, they pursued a Diploma in Global Sourcing from Aalto University Professional Development - Aalto PRO.
