John Nightingale

John Nightingale is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in the aerospace, defense, and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Kempston Controls since March 2024, John previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Formaplex, where significant financial misrepresentations were identified post-acquisition. Prior roles at Cobham spanned from 2004 to 2018, including leadership positions such as VP Finance for Flight Refuelling Limited, where John managed substantial turnovers and international OEM programs. Early career experiences include senior financial roles at Advanced Composites Business and audit responsibilities at Coopers & Lybrand. John holds a BSc(Econ)Hons degree in Geography and Politics from Swansea University.
