Amanda Adams

Amanda Adams is an experienced education professional currently serving as an English Language Specialist at English Language Programs since June 2024, focusing on teacher training in Canvas LMS and online learning practices. With a long tenure at Kenai Peninsula Borough School District since August 2012, Amanda has held multiple roles including Virtual Learning and Professional Development Coordinator, Lead Innovation Designer, Personalized Learning and Student Success Specialist, and Distance Education Teacher, specializing in Language Arts and Health. A Fulbright Scholar in 2023, Amanda worked in partnership with the Ugandan Directorate of Educational Standards to enhance the professional development of Ugandan educators in Project Based Learning. Prior experience includes serving as a Technology & Instruction Coach and teaching ELL at Mat-Su Borough School District. Amanda holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Texas.
