John W.'smost recent position was at Robert Half Technology, where they served as a Software Developer. Here, they worked as a partner in the development team for a startup firm, developing pre-construction management software using JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and a SQL Server backend. John W. also converted ASP.NET sites to JavaScript-based sites and added new functionality to the existing sites.

Currently, Myers is working at Kenall Lighting as a Programmer/Analyst.

John W. Myers attended Grove City High School from 1971 to 1974, where they obtained their GED in a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. In 1975, they completed the Enlisted Submarine School, focusing on mechanics and submarine operations. The following year, in 1976, they received a Certificate of Completion from the Naval Guided Missiles School, specializing in Electronics and Computer Systems. Moving forward, from 1979 to 1981, John studied at Columbus State Community College, majoring in Computer Science. Later, in 2008, they enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College, specializing in Computer Science once again, and completed their studies in 2011.
