Kurt Rahner

Kurt Rahner has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Kurt currently holds the position of VP of Technology at The Kendal Corporation since 2018. Prior to this, they served as the Director of IT at Kendal Corporate, where they provided strategic and tactical guidance in all areas of Information Technology. During their time at Kendal Corporate, they focused on process improvement, IT service management, information security enhancement, enterprise monitoring, and disaster and incident response procedures.

Before joining Kendal Corporate, Kurt worked as a Software Developer at Plastrac Inc. in 2017. Kurt also served as a Senior Security Architect at Berkley Technology Services from 2005 to 2015, where they implemented architectural solutions to monitor and mitigate risks, formulated strategies to balance risks and costs, and collaborated with technology and business leaders.

Kurt's previous roles include being the VP of Network Engineering at GHR Systems from 2000 to 2005, supporting sales teams and optimizing vendor contracts. Kurt worked as a VP of Network Implementation at JP Morgan Chase from 1994 to 2000, where they facilitated bank mergers and acquisitions and implemented workflow improvements.

Kurt'searly career includes a role as a Unix System Administrator at Boeing Helicopter from 1990 to 1994, supporting flight controls and avionics systems, and as a Software Engineer II at Data Systems Analyst from 1987 to 1990, where they developed assembly code and supported international system implementations.

Kurt Rahner earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1987. Kurt then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Villanova University, completing it between 1990 and 1997. Kurt went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Widener University in 2010, with a focus on Certified Financial Planning (CFP). Additionally, they hold certifications as a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certified (v4.0) from the Management & Strategy Institute, obtained in 2020.
