David Grove has extensive experience in both the legal and public service sectors. Currently serving as Board Secretary on the Board of Directors for Kendal~Crosslands Communities since April 2021, Grove also held the position of Council President in Swarthmore Borough from January 2016 during a tenure as Councilman from 2010 to 2017. A distinguished career in law includes over fifty years as Senior Counsel at Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP, with earlier roles as a Partner and Associate, as well as serving as an Attorney-Advisor for the Peace Corps. Grove’s commitment to education is highlighted by a four-year presidency on the Wallingford-Swarthmore School Board. Grove's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Laws from Yale Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Dickinson College.

We are a not-for-profit charitable organization, to provide services and communities for older people in accordance with the principles of the Religious Society of Friends. Kendal~Crosslands operates Kendal at Longwood, Crosslands, Coniston, and Cartmel, all communities in Kennett Square, PA.
