Shay Sims

Shay Sims joined Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. in October 2020, bringing over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. As Senior Vice President of Asset Services for the Greater Boston region, he has been intimately involved in the rapid growth of owned assets and leads a team of professionals responsible for the management and operations of over 11 million square feet of laboratory and office space. Prior to joining Alexandria, Mr. Sims held senior- level positions with Rockhill Management and Hines Interests and was a partner at CB Richard Ellis New England.

Shay resides in Wellesley with his spouse, Cynthia, with whom he has two grown kids, one of which lives and works in East Cambridge.
