Aaron Locke

Aaron Locke has over 20 years of work experience, starting with their role as an F-16 Avionics Technician in the United States Air Force from 1996 to 2000. During this time, they received two Air Force Achievement Medals for their outstanding accomplishments.

After leaving the military, Locke joined GameStop in 2001 as an Area/Store Manager, where they provided excellent customer service and prepared for a District Manager opportunity. Aaron held this position until 2010, during which they developed and retained top talent and established effective relationships with various departments to implement new programs.

Locke then served as a District Manager at GameStop from 2010 to 2014, directly influencing talent development and business results through performance management strategies. Following this role, they became a Manager in ReCommerce Operations, leveraging their skills to support the Re-Commerce business and monitor progress towards sales plans.

In 2015, Locke took on the role of Sr. Manager in Workforce Management at GameStop, overseeing store labor budgeting and leading operational initiatives. Aaron held this position until 2018, at which point they became the Director of Workforce Management. In this role, Locke was responsible for GameStop's largest operating expense budget and ensured compliance with labor laws and regulations.

From 2019 to 2022, Locke served as the Director II of Store Operations at GameStop. In addition to workforce management, they led various teams to optimize store efficiency, associate productivity, and guest experience. Aaron partnered with different departments to ensure a seamless implementation of initiatives and processes.

Currently, Locke works at Kendra Scott as the Senior Director of Workforce Management & Asset Protection, starting in 2022.

Aaron Locke has a Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts & Sciences from the University of North Texas, which they obtained between 2019 and 2022. Prior to that, between 2000 and 2002, they attended the University of Iowa to study Electrical Engineering, but did not complete a degree in that field.
