Gabriel McEver

Gabriel McEver is an experienced cyber security professional with a strong focus on operational security processes and technology. Currently serving as the Manager of Cyber Security Engineering at Kendra Scott since March 2022, Gabriel identifies security gaps and suggests improvements through automation and re-engineering. Prior experience includes leading cyber security teams at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, overseeing incident response for a vast network of users and nodes, and developing security operations at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and Texas Real Estate Commission. Gabriel also has a background in IT consulting and management roles, including positions at Geek Squad and Nexle Corporation. Gabriel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business from the University of Houston-Victoria and has studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
