Pedro Paredes

Pedro Paredes has extensive work experience in the field of telecommunications. Pedro began their career as a Network Engineer at Gandalf S.A. from November 2009 to February 2011. Pedro then worked as a Technician of Radio Links and Research at ULA Universidad de los Andes from March 2011 to February 2012. After that, Pedro joined Viginet S.A. in April 2012 as an Optical Fiber Engineer, where they conducted feasibility studies and managed the implementation of aerial fiber optic networks until December 2013. In January 2014, they joined Huawei as an RNO/RNP RF Engineer, responsible for planning, optimizing, and testing GSM, UMTS, and LTE networks in Venezuela. Pedro also performed drive tests, analyzed quality indicators, and detected external interference. Pedro left Huawei in July 2014 and joined Geoconstruye S.A. as an RNP/RNO RF Engineer, where they focused on technical resource management, acceptance control, and optimization of cluster networks. Pedro's next employer was Telefonica, where they held the positions of RF Engineer and Senior RF Engineer from March 2016 to September 2020. In these roles, they gained extensive knowledge in 2G, 3G, and LTE technologies and was involved in optimization, analysis, testing, and implementation of strategies to enhance network performance. Pedro then worked at EXFO as a Professional Services Consultant from September 2020 to February 2023, providing consulting expertise in the telecommunications field. Currently, Pedro is employed at Kenmei Technologies as a Senior Radio Frequency Engineer, starting in February 2023.

Pedro Paredes obtained their Engineer's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from UNEFA. Pedro attended UNEFA from 2009 to 2013.
