Kumarappa Jayanna

Kumarappa Jayanna has over 25 years of professional experience in the engineering and management fields, currently serving as Deputy General Manager at Kennametal since September 2008. Prior roles include Senior Manager at Kennametal and Manager at TVS Motor Company from 2001 to 2008. Kumarappa began the career as a Design Engineer at Kirloskar Electric Co. Ltd., where involvement included the design and development of CNC conversions for various conventional metal cutting machines. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from SJCE (1990-1994) and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Management from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (2001-2002).
