Laura Gilmore

Laura Gilmore is a seasoned professional in engineering and machining with a diverse background in sales and applications, maintenance, and CNC machining. Currently serving as a Sales and Applications Engineer at Kennametal since October 2022, Laura previously held positions as a Maintenance Engineer at Darigold and a Machinist at Quality Machine Products, where multitasking CNCs and simultaneous machining were central duties. Earlier experience also includes roles as a Maintenance Technician at Lactalis American Group and educator at the Discovery Center of Idaho. Laura's technical expertise is supported by multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and several technical certifications in mechatronics and machining from College of Western Idaho and Idaho State University.
