Kay Whitaker

Kay Whitaker is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in managing and advising technology companies on growth strategies. Currently serving as Managing Director at LiftBridge CXO since June 2020, Kay specializes in providing interim CFO services to help start-ups and scale-ups overcome growth barriers. Previously, Kay founded SterlingHope, guiding tech companies in developing successful growth capital strategies and effective business plans. Key roles also include Executive Vice President, Secretary, and CFO at First Internet Bank, where Kay played a crucial role in the company's IPO, and CFO at Central Indiana Community Foundation, managing a substantial endowment portfolio. With a background that includes positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Citizens Energy Group, Kay has consistently demonstrated expertise in financial strategy and organizational growth. Kay holds an MBA in International Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
