Elizabeth Stripling, EdD, is a seasoned expert in the field of special education with extensive experience in autism training and support. Since September 2007, Elizabeth has served as the Director of Outreach and Training at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, where oversight includes the Outreach and Training division at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders. Previously, Elizabeth held the role of Autism Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator, providing supervision for research-based preschool classrooms and technical assistance to schools across Maryland. Prior to joining the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Elizabeth worked at Lubbock Independent School District from January 1993 to August 2007 as an Autism Specialist, fulfilling roles such as teacher and diagnostician. Elizabeth holds a Doctorate in Special Education (Autism) from Texas Tech University and multiple advanced degrees in education, including a Master’s Degree in Special Education and a Master’s Degree in Education Administration.
