Joy Johnson

Joy Johnson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in administrative operations, event planning, and quality assurance. As the Assistant Director of Administrative Operations at the Kennedy Krieger Institute since December 2010, Johnson oversees operations within the Center for Autism. Previously, as the owner of Chi Chi Party from January 2004 to January 2020, Johnson provided consultation and planning services for events, alongside design and financial management. In a prior role as Business Quality Assurance Manager at IP-Plus Consulting, Inc., significant achievements included compliance with ISO 9001 certification and preparation of federal RFP contracts. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Advancement and Alumni Services at Capitol College, where fundraising and database management were key responsibilities, and as Program Manager at Morgan State University, focused on business development and staff management. Joy Johnson holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Morgan State University.
