Sarah King began their work experience as an Engineering Intern at JR Engineering in 2001. Sarah then moved on to MWH in 2003, where they worked as a Supervising Civil Engineer for over a decade. In 2014, they joined Kennedy/Jenks Consultants as a Principal Engineer and San Diego Area Client Team Leader. Sarah has since been promoted to Vice President and Client Team Leader.

Sarah King attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering.
