Spencer Archer

Spencer Archer has extensive work experience in project management and engineering. Spencer started their career at Kennedy Jenks Consultants in 2004 as a System Engineer and Technician, where they were involved in various pilot studies and equipment installations. In 2020, they joined Wood as an Associate Project Manager, gaining experience in managing projects. Later in the same year, they returned to Kennedy Jenks Consultants and took on the role of Senior Project Manager. Currently, they serve as the National Director of Design-Build, responsible for overseeing project delivery, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction for the firm's Design-Build projects. Archer has a strong track record of collaborative project delivery experience across municipal, Federal, and private industry clients.

Spencer Archer received their Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Spencer obtained their licenses as a Professional Engineer from both the California Department of Consumer Affairs in July 2007 and The State of Idaho in December 2015. In August 2022, Spencer achieved the designation of DBIA Certified Design-Build Professional from the Design-Build Institute of America. Additionally, they have pursued certifications as a Board Certified Environmental Engineer in Water Supply/Wastewater Engineering (BCEE-WS/WE) from the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists and as a Certified Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator from The State of Idaho, although the specific months and years of these certifications are not specified.
