Alan K. Blake

Alan K. Blake, CSP, MPA, currently serves as a Fire & Life Safety Specialist at Kennesaw State University since November 2020. Prior to this role, Alan Blake worked as an Educator in Careers and Technology at Gwinnett County Public Schools from August 2018 to June 2020, and held a position in Public Safety at Georgia Gwinnett College from 2014 to 2018. Alan Blake also has experience as a Claims and Risk Services Consultant at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company from 2011 to 2014 and as an Investigator for the City of Lawrenceville from 2000 to 2011. Additionally, Alan Blake served as an Assistant Fire Marshal for Gwinnett County Government from January 2007 to December 2008, where responsibilities included leading the Fire Investigation Unit and establishing legal procedures for fire code enforcement. Alan K. Blake holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Valdosta State University (2004-2006) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University (1981-1985).
