Amirsalar R. Esfahani

AmirSalar R. Esfahani, Ph.D., serves as an Assistant Professor at Kennesaw State University since August 2025. Prior to this role, AmirSalar held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Dayton from August 2023 to May 2025. Additionally, AmirSalar was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology from January 2021 to August 2023 and a Visiting Scholar at The University of Alabama for a brief period in 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Central Florida from 2016 to June 2020 and a Research Assistant at Tennessee Technological University between 2013 and 2015, focusing on water treatment and stormwater runoff management. AmirSalar earned a Postgraduate Degree in Mechanical and Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Central Florida, and a Master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
