Brian Etheridge is an accomplished academic with extensive administrative and teaching experience in higher education. Currently serving as Associate Dean for Academics in the Keeping Sights Upward Journey Honors College and Professor of History at Kennesaw State University since September 2019, Brian has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Institutional Effectiveness and QEP and Faculty Coordinator for Academic Program Review. Prior to this, Brian was Senior Associate Provost and Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence at Georgia Gwinnett College from July 2014 to August 2019, and Associate Provost for Academic Innovation at the University of Baltimore from July 2010 to June 2014. Brian also has a background in honors program management, previously leading programs at both the University of Baltimore and Louisiana Tech University. Brian holds a PhD in History from The Ohio State University and two Bachelor of Science degrees in History, Technology, and Society, and International Affairs from Georgia Institute of Technology, along with an MA in History from The University of Georgia.
