Donald Privitera

Donald Privitera is a Lecturer of Information Technology and Cybersecurity at Kennesaw State University since August 2019, teaching various courses including Infrastructure Defense and Ethical Hacking. Previously, Privitera served as CIO and CISO for the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, where significant digital transformation projects realized substantial annual cost savings. As Vice President of Cybersecurity Business Development at Cybriant, Privitera developed dealer channels and enhanced brand recognition while refining cybersecurity offerings. Privitera also founded Comprensium Cybersecurity, focusing on risk identification and system optimization for businesses. As CTO/CSO/President at Advance Warning Security, Inc., Privitera oversaw a company sale and developed security solutions. Early career roles include Senior IT Director and Manager in the childcare and restaurant sectors. Privitera holds a Master of Science in Information Technology with a cybersecurity focus from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Southern Polytechnic State University.
