Mike Young MEd., LAT, ATC has an extensive work experience in the field of sports medicine. Mike began their career as a Graduate Assistant at Campbell University from July 1997 to June 1999. Mike then worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Franklin College from 1999 to 2000. Afterwards, they served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Stetson University from July 2000 to June 2004. Mike then joined Miami University as an Associate Athletic Trainer from July 2004 to May 2012. Mike'smost recent positions include Director of Sports Medicine at Kennesaw State University from June 2012 to January 2021, Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine at Kennesaw State University from January 2021 to March 2022, and currently as the Associate Athletic Director, Health and Human Performance at Kennesaw State University starting from March 2022.
Mike Young MEd., LAT, ATC holds a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training/Trainer, which they obtained from Franklin College in 1997. Mike furthered their education by pursuing a Master's Degree in Education from Campbell University, which they completed in 1999.
