Reza M. Parizi

Reza M. Parizi is a distinguished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in software engineering and computing. Currently serving as Co-Founder and President at Avaly.ai since March 2025, Reza also holds the position of Director at Decentralized Science Lab and Founder & CEO of Decentralized Technologies. With a strong academic background, Reza has been an Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Software Engineering Programs at Kennesaw State University since August 2017, and previously held faculty positions at the New York Institute of Technology and Taylor's University. Reza's academic journey began with postdoctoral research at the University of Malaya following the attainment of a PhD and MSc from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a BSc from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman.
