Irisa Wheeler

Irisa Wheeler is an experienced photojournalist currently working at KENS 5 since November 2021, following a prior role at WRDW News 12 NBC 26 from September 2018 to November 2021. In these positions, Irisa has collaborated with reporters to develop news stories, captured and edited video packages for newscasts, and performed live shots using TVU technology. Irisa's experience also includes video editing, where skills in editing news footage and operating teleprompters were demonstrated. Previous roles include sales associate at Dillard's Inc. and various positions as a student assistant, intern, and crew member in different organizations, showcasing a strong foundation in customer service, communications, and media production. Irisa holds a degree in Communication from Augusta University, earned between 2014 and 2018.
