Kelly Bowers

Kelly Bowers has extensive experience in education and law enforcement, currently serving as the Assistant Principal of Student Supervision and Student Support Services at Kent Career Tech Center since June 2012. In this role, Kelly focuses on fostering an environment of tolerance, acceptance, cooperation, emotional safety, and equity among students and staff. Prior to this, Kelly was a Criminal Justice Instructor and held positions as a Police Officer with the City of Grand Rapids and a Correction Officer with the Kent County Sheriff Department. Kelly holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Ferris State University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from Grand Rapids Community College.
