Jonathon Shapiro

Jonathon Shapiro is a seasoned emergency medicine physician assistant with extensive experience in the healthcare field. Currently employed at Kent Hospital since January 2016, Jonathon has previously held similar roles at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital from February 2015 to January 2020 and Landmark Medical Center from 2013 to January 2016. Jonathon began the medical career as a physician assistant student at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences from January 2011 to December 2012, following a foundational role as an EMT-Basic at Med Tech Ambulance from August 2009 to December 2010. Prior experience includes working as a behavior specialist and direct support professional at Perspectives Corporation from June 2007 to November 2009. Jonathon earned a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2012 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Providence College, completed in 2008.
