Bethany Metivier

Bethany Metivier is an experienced librarian and educator with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Writing from Spring Arbor University. Metivier has held various roles at Kent District Library since May 2016, progressing from Intern to Branch Librarian, and has also contributed to youth education as a Youth Paraprofessional and Shelver. Previous experience includes working as a Home Care Provider, Center Aide at Telamon Corporation, and Counselor at SpringHill Day Camps, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting children and families. Additional skills in writing and editing were developed through roles such as Editor in Chief for The Pulse Student News Magazine and various tutoring positions.
