Kevin Zaschak Ed.s

Kevin Zaschak ED.S has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kevin is currently employed at Kent ISD as a Principal since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Forest Hills Central High School from 2014 to 2020, where they served as a Varsity Volleyball Assistant Coach and later as the Head Varsity Hockey Coach. Kevin also worked at Forest Hills Central High Schl as a Summer Strength and Conditioning Trainer from 2014 to 2022. In 2013, they were a Camera Man for Forest Hills Central Varsity Football.

Before joining Forest Hills Central, Kevin worked at Wayland Union Schools from 2009 to 2020. Kevin held two positions at Wayland Union Schools, first as an Elementary School Principal from 2013 to 2020 and later as the Athletic Director/Assistant Principal from 2009 to 2013. Kevin also had a long tenure at Forest Hills Public Schools from 2000 to 2009, where they were a Special Education Teacher and the FHNE Varsity Head Hockey Coach.

Prior to their career in education, Kevin worked as a Golf Professional at a Country Club from 1993 to 2002. Overall, Kevin Zaschak ED.S brings a wealth of experience in leadership, coaching, teaching, and athletics.

Kevin Zaschak ED.S has a Bachelor's degree in Professional Golf Management/Marketing from Ferris State University, which they obtained from 1990 to 1993. Kevin then pursued a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids, completing it from 1998 to 2000. Later, they attended Grand Valley State University from 2007 to 2009, where they earned an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General. Kevin Zaschak ED.S has additional certifications, including CPI Certified Instructor from Crisis Prevention Institute obtained in 2020, Administration Certification obtained in 2010, Teacher Certification obtained in 2000, and PGA Membership from PGA of America obtained in 1997.
