Jamison Buchin, PMP, has extensive experience in project management and coordination. Jamison began their career in 1998 as a Client Liaison at Merit Laboratories, where they were responsible for project planning, client interaction, budgeting, cost tracking, personnel supervision, and subcontractor coordination. In 1999, they joined Hamp Mathews & Associates as a Field Operation and Field Construction Manager, where they were one of the first employees. Jamison was responsible for overseeing high priority/high profile environmental construction projects and ensuring efficiencies and quality standards. In 2017, they joined Consumers Energy as a Sr Project Coordinator and in 2019 they became a Project Manager at Kent Power, Inc. Jamison is currently an ECM and ETG Maintenance Planner at Lansing Board of Water & Light, where they are responsible for planning the work activities for internal crew resources, identifying costs, materials, and resources needed for each task, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Jamison Buchin, PMP has a diverse educational background and a range of certifications. Jamison attended DeWitt High School, Adrian College, Lansing Community College, and Michigan State University. At Adrian College, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences in 1998. Jamison then attended Lansing Community College, where they completed Continuing Education courses in Landscape Architecture in 2008 and Autodesk Revit Architecture for BIM in 2016. In 2010, they completed Continuing Education courses in Construction Management at Michigan State University. Additionally, Jamison Buchin, PMP has four certifications: Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute (obtained in 2017), Miss Dig Certification from Miss Dig System Inc (obtained in 2016), Industrial or Commercial Treatment Facility A-2d from the State of Michigan DEQ (obtained in 2016), and Storm Water Management-Construction Site from MDEQ (obtained in 2014).
