Darice Johnson currently serves as the Executive Director of Learning Improvement for Kent School District since July 2015, having previously held the position of Principal. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Principal for Auburn School District from July 2010 to July 2015 and House Administrator for Seattle Public Schools from 2009 to 2010. Darice Johnson began a teaching career at Rainier Scholars from 2003 to 2009 and also worked as a teacher for Seattle Public Schools from 1998 to 2008. Education encompasses a Principal Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Washington (2010-2011) and a Principal Professional Certification from the University of Washington Tacoma. Additional qualifications include a Master in Teaching in Secondary Education from The Evergreen State College (1994-1996) and a Bachelor's degree from The Evergreen State College (1990-1994).
