Ashley Whaley

Ashley Whaley is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in higher education and alumni relations. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Communications and Digital Engagement in Advancement Communications at Kent State University since September 2008, Ashley is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies to enhance awareness of the alumni association and its membership program. Additionally, Ashley has held the position of Associate Director at the Kent State University Alumni Association since May 2016. Previous roles include Marketing Coordinator/Copywriter at Equity Trust Company, where Ashley led copywriting initiatives, and a Public Relations Intern at Public Relations Partners, Inc. Ashley holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, both from Kent State University.
