Michael Bell

Michael Bell, Ph.D., currently serves as the Assistant Dean for Assessment and Accreditation at Kent State University, a position held since August 2012. In this role, Michael has successfully planned, implemented, and evaluated comprehensive assessment and accreditation initiatives within the College of Education, Health, and Human Services, collaborating with faculty and staff to enhance academic program quality. Prior to this, Michael held multiple roles in institutional research, including Senior Analyst and Data Engineer, where expertise in SQL, data analysis, and reporting contributed to effective data management and analysis for state and federal compliance. Michael's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University, an MBA in Management, and a B.A. in Secondary Education from The University of Akron.
