Monique Wingard

Monique Wingard, M.A., MSSA, is a dynamic professional currently serving as a Graduate Trustee and a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Kent State University since August 2023. Wingard is the Founder and Principal Consultant of SAVVY Consulting & Communications, LLC, established in 2014, a firm dedicated to enhancing organizations' digital presence. Previous roles include Adjunct Professor at Cleveland State University, Contributing Writer for notable publications such as EBONY Media, WTTW/Chicago PBS, and the Chicago Defender, as well as Digital Content and Engagement Manager at UMI. Wingard's diverse educational background includes a PhD in Communication and Information from Kent State University, and advanced degrees from Ohio University and Case Western Reserve University.
