Nichole Baker has a diverse work experience in the field of advancement and development. Nichole started their career in 2006 as a Philanthropy Coordinator at The Nature Conservancy. Nichole then moved on to work at the Wildlife Conservation Network as an Events and Volunteers Manager from 2007 to 2011. After that, they joined the Smithsonian Institution as an Executive Assistant to the Director in 2011 and later became the Director of Development at World Land Trust-US from 2012 to 2013. Nichole then joined Kent State University where they held various roles including Director of Advancement, Student Affairs, Senior Advancement Research Specialist, Principal Gifts Manager, and Associate Director, Prospect Management & Portfolio Development. Currently, they are serving as the Director, Prospect Management & Portfolio Development at Kent State University.
Nichole Baker completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Conservation Biology at Kent State University. Subsequently, they pursued a Masters in Public Administration with a nonprofit focus at San Francisco State University from 2008 to 2010.
