Pamela Fitzgerald

Pamela Fitzgerald, MPA, currently serves as the Director and ADA/504 Coordinator for Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action at Kent State University, a position held since December 2009. In this role, Pamela provides strategic leadership in developing and administering equal opportunity programs, managing a team to ensure compliance with relevant laws and policies. Previous experience includes serving as Interim Title IX Coordinator, Compliance Manager and Deputy Title IX Coordinator, and Compliance Coordinator, all within the university’s Division of Human Resources. Earlier career roles include Inspector General Superintendent with the U.S. Air Force Reserves and Investigator 1 at the State of Ohio Civil Rights Commission. Pamela holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Integrative Studies from Kent State University, as well as an Associate of Applied Science from the Community College of the Air Force, and a Certificate of Completion from the Institute for Excellence for Administrators.
