Duncan Forbes

Duncan Forbes is an experienced engineer with a strong background in safety, reliability, and process engineering within the Oil and Gas, Renewables, and Low Carbon industries. Currently working at Kent as a Process and Safety Engineer since July 2021, Duncan has also held a similar role at Atkins prior to this. With experience at Rolls-Royce, including positions as a Turbines Sub-System Integrator and Thermofluids Engineer, Duncan developed new turbine architectures and provided consultancy support. Early career experience includes an internship at BP as a Process Engineering Intern and a Chemical Engineering Internship at the National Nuclear Laboratory, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde. Additionally, Duncan possesses significant coaching experience through a previous role at East Kilbride Tennis Club.
