Jessica Taylor

Jessica Taylor is an experienced engineer specializing in offshore structures, currently serving as the Interim Team Lead for Epsom & London Offshore Structures at Kent since August 2021, providing maternity cover. Prior to this role, Jessica worked as a Senior Engineer focusing on fatigue and fracture within structural integrity management at Kent. Jessica's previous experience includes a position as a Developing Structural Engineer at ODE – DORIS Group Company, and a Doctoral Researcher at Cranfield University, where research involved investigating crack arrest fracture toughness of high-strength steels for container ships. With an academic foundation that includes a Doctorate in Structural Integrity from Cranfield University, an MSc in Offshore and Ocean Technology, and a BSc in Physics from the University of Warwick, Jessica possesses a robust understanding of mechanical and fracture properties critical for offshore structures.
