Kristen Rene

Kristen Rene has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry, primarily focusing on blood collections and phlebotomy. Kristen began their career as a Phlebotomist at an unemployed Phlebotomist in 2013, where they worked from December 2013 to May 2014. Kristen then joined Houchin Community Blood Bank as a Phlebotomist from May 2014 to December 2016. After that, Kristen worked at Kentucky Blood Center, starting as a Phlebotomist in May 2017. Kristen quickly progressed within the company, taking on roles such as Automation Specialist/Backup Team Supervisor and Team Supervisor. Currently, Kristen holds the position of Blood Collections Manager, a role they assumed in May 2022.

Kristen Rene has a diverse education history. Kristen attended the University of Louisville from 2021 to 2022, where they studied Health/Health Care Administration/Management. In 2013, they obtained a Certified Phlebotomy Technician degree from the Clinical Training Institute. Kristen previously attended Bakersfield College from 2008 to 2010, where they earned an Associate's degree in Communication, General and a Communication Certificate. Lastly, they attended California State University, Bakersfield from 1992 to 1995, studying Public Administration, and also pursued Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies during the same period at California State University-Bakersfield.
