Liz Counts

Liz Counts has extensive work experience in the blood banking and medical field. Liz started their career in 1995 as a Lab Manager with the American Red Cross River Valley Region and held this position until 2009. In 2009, they joined the Kentucky Blood Center as the Director of Manufacturing and Hospital Services, a role they held for ten years. Additionally, Liz served as the Vice President of Technical Services at the same organization starting in May 2019. Liz also worked as a Reference Lab Director at the Kentucky Blood Center from an unknown start date until 2011.

During their time at AABB, Liz served as an Assessor from 2010 to 2013.

Liz Counts obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Hanover College, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Liz later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Indiana Wesleyan University from 2005 to 2007.
