Katie Cadena

Katie Cadena currently serves as the Director of Visitor Services at the Kentucky Derby Museum since July 2021. Previously, Katie held various roles in educational and community outreach positions, including Community Education Program Developer at Waubonsee Community College from June 2017 to January 2021, and Senior Public Programs Manager at DuPage Children's Museum from June 2015 to June 2017. Katie also worked as a Community Outreach Coordinator for the Forest Preserves of Cook County for a brief period in 2014 and spent over four years at Brookfield Zoo, first as Supervisor of Camps, Overnights, and Family Programs and later as Play Programs Facilitator. Earlier in Katie's career, experience included serving in animal programs education at The Walt Disney Company from January 2007 to December 2010.
