Kendrick Vonderschmitt has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Policy Research Fellow at The Council of State Governments, where they conducted research on transportation and environmental issues, organized conferences, and wrote policy briefs. In 2014, they joined Rainbow Design Services, Inc. as a Production Supervisor, responsible for training, supervising, and quality control of drafting mapping products. Kendrick later became a Design Supervisor, managing a team of HFC designers. In 2018, they became a Project Manager at the Commonwealth of Kentucky, working on the CSEPP project. In 2020, they joined the Kentucky Housing Corporation, first as a Program Financial Analyst, and then as the Managing Director of Corporate Planning and Accountability. Throughout their career, Kendrick has demonstrated strong analytical and organizational skills in various roles.

Kendrick Vonderschmitt completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from Marshall University from 2008 to 2012. Kendrick later pursued further education and obtained a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree with a specialization in Transportation and Land Use from the University of Kentucky between 2012 and 2014.
