Joseph Coleman is an experienced professional in research and federal relations, currently serving as the Research & Federal Relations Manager at the Kentucky League of Cities since May 2002. In this role, Joseph oversees all research efforts related to legislative and regulatory issues, conducting both qualitative and quantitative analyses. Previously, Joseph held the position of Federal Issues Analyst, where responsibilities included advocating for federal legislative policy, tracking complex federal legislation, and serving as a liaison to federal entities. Additionally, Joseph contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Eastern Kentucky University, teaching community development principles to Master of Public Administration candidates. Joseph's educational background includes a Doctor of Public Administration degree from Valdosta State University and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Kentucky, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgetown College.
