Laura Buchanan has a wide range of experience in the IT and service industry, with roles ranging from Network Administrator to Owner of a food truck. Currently, Laura is the Owner of Roli-Poli Pierogi, LLC and also works at the Kentucky Lottery Corporation as a Software QA Analyst and Systems Administrator II. Prior to this, Laura has held positions at companies such as QCI, Pioneer Electronics, Pomeroy/Computerland, Minolta Business Systems, and the US Air Force Reserve. Laura's experience includes hardware/software field representative, teletype/crypto specialist, and network administration.

Established in 1989, the Kentucky Lottery was the first lottery in the United States to be implemented as a corporation. Our mission is clear – we fuel imagination and fund education for ALL Kentuckians. This is done through lottery proceeds funding college scholarship and grant programs with over $5 Billion in funding since 1999, including every dime ever awarded in the popular KEES Scholarship program. In order to do this, our plan is based on a structure which represents our operation.
