Kathy Nunez - De Vazquez

Kathy Nunez-De Vazquez currently serves as the Administrative Coordinator at Kentucky Refugee Ministries, Inc., starting in September 2022. Prior to this, Kathy held the role of Bridging the Gap Coordinator at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Lexington from September 2021 to September 2022, focusing on providing services to individuals and families facing financial crises. Kathy also has experience as a Lead Targeted Case Manager at THE TRAUMA-INFORMED COUNSELING CENTER LLC, where responsibilities included coordinating client care and managing discharge plans. Additional roles include positions as a Behavior Technician at Bluegrass Behavioral Health Group and Center for Autism and Related Disorders, a Front Office Coordinator at The Childrens Eye Center of El Paso, and various administrative roles. Kathy is pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the University of Kentucky, expected to graduate in May 2026, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the same institution.
