John Akre has a diverse background in education and media, currently serving as an Educator at the Kentucky Science Center since November 2022. As Co Founder of Green Jeans Media since June 2013, John has contributed to creative projects in the media industry. Previously, from February 2016 to May 2022, John taught animation as an Adjunct Instructor in the Digital Media Arts department at Hamline University. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Montana State University-Bozeman, earned between 1981 and 1986.
