Michael Norman

Chief Executive Officer at Kentucky Science Center

Michael Norman has had significant work experience in executive positions. From 2011 to 2020, they worked at the Kentucky Science Center, starting as the Chief Business Officer and later becoming the Chief Operating Officer. In these roles, they were responsible for various functions such as financial management, human resources, information technology, and strategic planning. In March 2020, they were promoted to the position of Chief Executive Officer, where they administered and managed all activities of the Kentucky Science Center. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2011, they served as the Chief Audit Executive at Louisville Metro Government, where they led the department in meeting internal audit needs for the local government.

Michael Norman received their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance from the University of Louisville. Michael completed this degree between 1982 and 1986. Later, between 1989 and 1993, Michael pursued further education at the University of Louisville and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Business.
