Toby Ortman CMCP currently serves as a Communications Analyst at the Integrated Public Safety Commission, overseeing Project Hoosier SAFE-T since August 2023. With extensive experience in emergency services, Toby has been part of the Fire and Safety Team at Kentucky Speedway since April 2005, providing critical on-track response during high-stakes racing events. From November 1999 to August 2023, Toby held several key positions, including Communications Supervisor, 9-1-1 Director, and IDAS Coordinator at the Seymour Police Department, where responsibilities included managing daily operations and mentoring dispatchers. Toby's career began as an Emergency Dispatcher at the Jackson County Sheriff's Department in 1999. Educational background includes attendance at Vincennes University and a diploma from Crothersville Jr. Sr. High School.
