Dr. Brenda Obondo

Dr. Brenda Obondo is an accomplished healthcare professional serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Medical Association since September 2022 and as Co-Founder and Director of Afridolescent Health since February 2020, where a focus lies on child and adolescent health services. In addition, Dr. Obondo holds a Board Member position at the Kenya Medical Association NWDT Sacco and works as a Healthcare Consultant with Bellie & Roaster. With experience as a Medical Officer and Branch Manager at Avenue Healthcare, Dr. Obondo managed clinical care and operations at multiple locations. Previous roles include serving as a Healthcare Educator at TV 47 and as a Medical Officer at Port Reitz Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Nairobi, an MBA in Health Leadership and Management from the United States International University - Africa, and a Master of Science in Adolescent Health from the University of Galway.
