Gladys Kiprono

Gladys Kiprono is a seasoned professional in maritime security and law enforcement, currently serving as a Coastal App and IORIS Trainer for Expertise France since October 2023, focusing on the Go Blue Project. In addition, Gladys has been an MDA Expert and IORIS Trainer with EU CRIMARIO since October 2022, supporting various training initiatives. As a Public Complaints Liaison Officer at Kenya Ports Authority since June 2017, Gladys has developed mechanisms to address public grievances effectively, while also holding roles in security investigation and supervision. Prior experience includes serving as a Maritime Policy Officer for the National Police Service - Kenya from 2011 to 2017, where responsibilities encompassed marine law enforcement and safety. Gladys holds an MBA in Finance from Kenyatta University and has completed specialized courses in marine transportation and maritime security.
